Welcome to the website of the Consulate General of China in Cebu.

The Consulate General of China in Cebu was formally inaugurated in 1995. Its consular district covers 11 provinces on the Visayas islands of the Philippines, which play a hinge role in the south-north transportation of the country. With developed air and sea transport systems, and the abundant natural resources, the provinces enjoy a dynamic economy and represent one of the fastest growing regions in the Philippines. In recent years, as the continuous promotion of the friendly relations between China and the Philippines, the provinces have been conducting more and more exchanges and cooperation with China.

This website is aimed at, on one hand, erecting a bridge for communications between Chinese provinces, municipalities under direct jurisdiction of the central government, autonomous regions and concerned departments, and the above consular district, so as to enhance mutual understanding and friendly cooperation, on the other hand, providing more convenience for the overseas Chinese compatriots in the consular district to apply for the related certificates and documents, and the local people and the other nationals to apply for visa to China.
